Any Excuse for Chocolate

I am one of those people that will take any excuse for chocolate. My name is Christena, and I am a chocoholic. And I love every minute of it! I am not one of those picky chocolate connoisseurs, either. I like Hershey's chocolate kisses just as much as I like Godiva chocolates and every other kind, as well. I like milk chocolate and bittersweet chocolate, and although I'm not a big fan of white chocolate, I will not turn it down, especially when it is in the firm of white chocolate cheesecake!

So, you can understand my delight when it comes to any holiday, because holidays invariably include chocolate. Valentine's Day comes at a nice time. It is halfway between Christmas and my birthday. So I can indulge my chocolate craving yet again. The best part is that there are tons of ways to indulge your chocolate cravings online. The internet has literally brought Belgian chocolate to my door in the Wild West.

Of course, you can order boxes of fine chocolates. Or you can order a hundred Hershey's kisses. You can order chocolate covered almonds, and plain m&m's in any color you choose. I can order the chocolate jelly rings that my grandmother used to buy for us when we were young. How I loved biting into those chocolate rings and finding out what color and taste I would get from the jelly ring inside! I loved the pink and yellow jellies and disdained the green ones.

If you are like me and enjoy cooking, you can order fine baking chocolate from anywhere in the world to make the best chocolate soufflés, sinful chocolate pies and other chocolate concoctions guaranteed to make any chocolate lover sigh with absolute delight! I love to shop for chocolate goodies that make cooking a joy.

The only drawback as far as I am concerned with ordering my chocolate online is that I miss the experience of being in a shop that sells chocolate. The sights and the smells are little bits of heaven waiting to be eaten! That's why I never miss the chance to enter a shop that sells chocolate. The experience alone is worth the pound I gain just for sniffing the fragrant chocolate in the air. But in the meantime, I order online and am glad to be able to expand my horizons with new sites that sell one of my favorite things.
