Exploring Bluefly: What's New
Bluefly is one of my favorite places to shop for discounted designer gear. In the "big picture" of all these affordable luxury sites, I really feel that Bluefly is one of the stand-out bests. I haven't been over there in a while for a big shopping spree. I'm on the search for spring/summer transitions, and I know that the advertisement I spotted over at Bluefly (shown below) was a definite inspiration. Some of the pieces below I pulled straight from the ad, while the others I just completely fell upon in my search.

This top probably looks familiar. . . because I saw it on the above advertisement and had to feature it! I'm a sucker for spaghetti straps and v-neck shorts in the summer, namely because they leave you feeling so cool and comfy. Buy this because it doesn't flatter me, and I want to shop vicariously through someone else.

This top is a total yacht dream. It's so super fantastic, light and airy and definitely awesome with a pair of white slouchy jeans. With a pair of metallic strappy sandals, this look will take you from the Cape to the Bahamas and on a tropical cruise, too.
(DKNY Purple Crochet Suit)
Wow, this swimsuit makes one-pieces look ultra-sexy. Don't forget that bikinis aren't your only option, and one pieces can be especially useful when you're on vacation and you may have fallen asleep by the pool or something similar! If you've been fried to a crisp, this is a good choice-- and it's even better if your best feature is your great legs. Apple shapes will love this suit.

This white jacket has a loose, relaxed fit that's just a little bit like a comfy "members only" jacket. With delicate little drawstrings and a front closure, this cool jacket is something that you'll warm up to. It's a piece that's easily combined with linen trousers or even a sweet sundress if you're on the funkier side.

Talk about a piece that could be worn just about anywhere. The pattern is unique but in a graphic black and white, it's versatile. I like that mini length, particularly with flats, and the lack of any bright or bold design details means that we get to play with our accessories, too. Sigh.

This dress has a fun, kind of creative, Caribbean vibe. As soon as I saw it on Bluefly, I knew that it had to be mine: I'm in love with the maxi dresses of last season and don't want to let them go quite yet. Here's my chance to sneak in yet another with a super fresh look!
