Every once in a while, I get an urge to go on a major shopping spree for my niece. Sometimes inspired by a cute tee from Charlotte Russe, other times I've just spoken to her on the phone, but it's about every month and a half that I want to grab one of everything for this girl!
Some of my favorite stores areRampage, Delias, Wet Seal, and Bongo, and I thought you might like to know exactly what I'm digging for the younger crowd this time. If you're young at heart, searching for a gift, or just plain ol' curious, check out my top selections.

Rampage '60s Scalloped Bandeau)
This bandeau might seem a little racy to the more conservative among us, but I know for a fact that it's a total hit with the younger crowd. Let's just say I did a little field research through our family photo album to confirm that smaller can be better when it's done right. This is definitely one of those times, and this cool scalloped piece has even been spotted on Petra Nemcova for extra appeal. It features a padded bust and a halter top that's guaranteed to lend a little uplift.

Rampage Cut Out Embroidered Cami)
I always go crazy at Rampage, because they offer reasonably-priced pieces that really fit in with the current trends. This tank top is sweet and yet quite cool, and it would look fantastic with a wide range of junior's skirts such as ruffled shapes, trim sailor high-waisted items, and even little denim pieces. The cut-out embroidery across the top has a little boho vibe-- great for pairing with inspired chandelier earrings.

Printed Surplice Dress,
Ruffle Trim Shift Dress,
Satin Bead Trim Dress,
Poplin Ruffle Trim Dress all from WetSeal)
Like this collection from Wet Seal? I've gone wild, I know. Dresses are a good find for juniors over there because they have a ton and they are all very trendy. Wow! I'm not sure how you're going to pick from all these yummy items, but I've managed to narrow it down to the two in navy and white. Solid-colored dresses are great for girls who spend the entire summer in their bikinis and need something simple to balance them out. That being said, the striped/patterned dresses are the easiest ways to coax a style-shy girl out of her shell.
(
Alloy Mexi-Cali Hoodie)
Could a hoodie get any more unique? This one is laced all over with fun, Mexican-inspired embroidery in multi colors. Even the most basic of dressers will be putting this little hoodie on, since it's a teen basic with a twist. Light blue is very summer friendly, and can serve as a great piece to take out boating with brisk summer winds.
(
Alloy Foldover Yoga Pants)
Despite my thrill for all things fun, young, and teen, even the most vivacious of juniors need something to settle down in for sports and leisure. Fold-down yoga pants are a perfect choice because they are very flattering and comfy, but they're also trendy. Black is a good choice if you're shopping for a sporty girl, but not quite sure her fave colors and patterns.
