Junior Picks for the Holidays
Do you love shopping for juniors for the holidays? There's just something so fun about picking out things for teens and tweens: everything's
bright and colorful, there's pattern and fun everywhere, and let's be
honest--any adult wardrobe can get really boring. Here are a few of my
favorite fun picks for shopping time!
Star Printed PJs: Teens love PJs, or at least most of them do! You can easily find star patterned PJs (which are much more innocuous than a heart-patterned pair) and then gift them with other fun bed accessories like a hot cocoa mug, night "beauty kit" with a cool eye creams and a funky sleeping mark.
MP3 Credits: Okay, this might not be fashion-related, but it can quickly become fashion-related if you buy an MP3 player in a fun, cool case. Because teens lose stuff from time to time, a back-up MP3 player that they can take to friends' houses is a great buy. Look for one in their favorite color.
Sweet "Boudoir" Selections: Teens are often unable to pick out the awesome underwear they want--mom usually has a say, and more often than not, it's boring. Why not try mixing up a sleep/intimates set of gift certificates, camisoles, and boyshorts for your favorite niece? She'll love it!
Friendly Scrapbooking Supplies: We often spend way too much time online, and then we forget about all the fun traditions we used to have, like scrapbooking, painting, and reading. Get ready to gift away, and be a part of the fun. There are a lot of fashionable additions now for clothes lovers and non-stop shoppers, so you can make an ultra-girly scrapbook.
Slippers and Hoodies: Comfort is key when you're picking out pieces for the teen in your life. They might act like they don't care, but they do--so grab something that's sure to please, like a Victoria's Secret PINKHoodie or a pair of plush slippers in a bright color.
Novelty Items: Fiber-optics candles, faux Urban Outfitters glasses, and hair supply kits are always in high demand. If they are super cute, then they'll be even more popular!
