Piperlime Spring Looks

I've been looking for new spring styles to flatter your hottest looks concocted for warm weather. I love the varied shapes available to all of us, from flats to pumps, not to mention some of the coolest colors I've seen in a while. Luxuriate in yellow suede, play twinkle-toes in beaded sandals, and enjoy the very best laced pumps this side of spring. Piperlime is an amazing resource for all of these, and more.

Pl56968200qlv01

(Kenneth Cole Reaction Rich N Hitched, $79.00)
These beautiful yellow shoes feature a high, thick strap and chunky heel shapes that defy all of your stiletto collection. Balance on these confidently with a gorgeous, wide peasant skirt and a fitted top when you go all-out, or try a simple pair of black capris for a basic crowd-pleaser.

Pl56404400qlv01_2
(Indigo by Clarks Pallino, $65.00) Flats are a must for any city dweller or hardcore commuter, but why are so many pairs so... not flattering? It's important to buy a pair that is trendy and that is a pleasing shape, just because they are noticed, even on the bus! This gray pair with a metallic twist blend in with pavement and grime, but are available in a pleasingly soft color to match with all of your spring florals.

Pl57854600qlv01

(Vince Camuto Palmer, $125.00)
Jeweled sandals can be more than a cocktail-party must have. You can slip on a pair of these delicate sandals with any dress or skirt and take it to the next level right away. Now that's an investment. The adjustable back strap keeps them on tight. Forget those shoddy elastic-strapped shoes and find a pair that really fit.

Pl58260602qlv01

(Vince Camuto Veronica, $132.00)
These are my favorite shoes so far! In fact, I just got a similar pair from Evans London today in brown and black. While these may seem very fashion-forward and therefore a little challenging, you can let them speak for themselves when you pair them with pencil skirts, classic dresses, and pegged capris. Enjoy all the complements you get while wearing them.

Pl56737600qlv01

(Naturalizer Roberts, $65.00)
Another yellow pair of shoes for you. Can you tell my favorite spring color? This pair has moccasin details and a softer lemon color for the more delicate ones among us. Excellent craftsmanship and detailing will make these shoes stand out significantly near similar styles, and you'll relish the attention they bring you.

Scooping Up the Shoes at Bluefly

One shopping tip for spring: the selection at Bluefly is amazing right now, especially if you're headed there for sandals! I headed over there for sandals and my jaw dropped. You can find sumptuous leathers, simple canvas, and easy suede, along with quite a few twists and turns.

I've listed my top picks below, but I know you'll find other options if you go over there and check it out. I recommend it if you're kitting yourself out for spring.

Prodimagems

Kate Spade Blue Animal Print Canvas Fleur Thongs

These thong sandals are very lively and sophisticated. The jeweled accent at the vamp is the perfect touch when you need to dress up for the weekend when you're on vacation.

Consider These Options: I would try this pair of sandals with a high-waist black skirt and soft halter top, a saucy sundress complete, or casual linen trousers.

Prodimagems_2
Giuseppe Zanotti Green Suede Jeweled Platform Wedges

These are sandals straight out of a fairytale, complements of Bluefly! The green suede straps zigzag across your toes and sparkle with delicate stones. This high, floral heel would look just amazing with a skirt to show it off. The open toe just begs for a pretty pedicure.

Consider These Options: Pegged jeans and capris would look great with these statement sandas.

Prodimagems_3
Bo'em Black Leather Pearl "Lucie" Thong Sandals

Pearl detail is gorgeous on spring and summer details. The softly pointed toe is a little dressier for special occasions held at summery locations like beaches and boats, and the hard leather sole is just right for heat and summer ocean spray because it's easily cleaned.

Consider These Options: Black trousers may be a giveaway, but they're no less tempting. If you need to dress these sandals up a tad, consider satin-trimmed wide leg trousers or a pair of simple shorts.

Prodimagems_4
Taryn by Taryn Rose Brown Suede Enlight Sandals

Rich and brown, these sandals have a handcrafted appearance, like a pair of sandals that you'd pick up at Cape Cod or somewhere similar. This creamy leather complete with thick metal studs is very tempting. I certainly couldn't resist!

Consider These Options: Jeans are a fantastic choice with these sandals for a casual feeling.

Prodimagems_5
Stuart Weitzman Red Gigham Jute Wedges

Fresh, young flats are a perfect pick for women who need a little bit more security for their footwear. If you can't wear sandals at work, or you hate chasing the kids around in them, these could be your savior.

Consider These Options: A sweet shirtdress could amplify that country chic appeal.

Cool Spring Shoes: Easy Bold Style

If there's something I really like, it's the bold shoe trend. If you're feeling down or you've just realized that your outfit is not very exciting and you have no time to change, consider a quick update with a pair of pumps in one of this season's coolest colors: bold turquoise, kelly green, and deep red and pink. Even with your most "blah" outfits, all of the sudden you'll be turning heads and drawing eyes straight towards you-- even if you're just out in the shop to grab a pint of milk. (It's even better that way!)

This week, I've turned my attention to Endless.com-- just like the name, I was getting together a pretty impressive list of "must-buys." Good thing my birthday is in two weeks! I thought that you might want to take a look at what I've found in my search over at Endless, and then continue on to do a little shopping of your own.

Mod Flats

<Mod Flats: These Materia Prima flats combine the best of both worlds with a cool, young flavor that's thankfully not jacked up on 5" heels. If you need shoes to walk to nearby locations and to pad around work with ease, these flats are the way to go.

Style Tip: Try these with capris or shorts to show them off.

Open-Toes Wedges

Open-Toes Wedges: The N.Y.L.A. Open Toed Wedge has an interesting shape that's sweet but still adds extra height. It's completely feminine and retro, and just what we need for the upcoming season! Slipping these on will give you a total boost.

Zingy Heels

Zingy Heels: The gold on the inside of these heels sold them for me. Cool multicolored leather strips wrap around these 3 1/2 inch heels with a classic shape and a less-than-expected clash of colors in orange, green, and blue.

Tapestry-Esque Heels

Tapestry-Esque Heels: Collect your feminine wiles and channel them into a shoe, these could very well be them. Floral and patterned to the hilt, they are just perfect. Faux patent trim along the cool decorative designs are positively perfect.

Theatrical Pumps

Theatrical Pumps
: Even your wildest dreams couldn't think these ones up. What a great take on this spring's pump trend! With a huge gem detail and totally peacock-ish colors, they're not for the faint of heart. But for whom they do rub the right way: you're in luck. They're also available in black and fuchsia.

Shoe Shopping at Its Best: Piperlime

I'm totally obsessing over Piperlime's "Shoes in the News" section. . . they list celeb shoe styles and link straight to them on the site! I may be a bit of a closet celeb magazine reader, and this feature really cuts down on my research time when I find a pair of "Must Buy" shoes on US Weekly or Hello.

For example, I went on the site yesterday to shop for shoes. Many of my friends have been snowed in and the snow is still falling, but that won't stop me from looking cute. I headed over to Piperlime and they had a main page feature on bright shoes, and to top it off, they were also featuring cool blue flats that are also a celeb top pick. You can check out those cool shoes below-- imagine them with your favorite skinnies or yoga pants!

Seychelles Tryst Shoes

Gotta have them? You can check out these Seychelles Tryst Shoes at Piperlime, where they're priced at $80.

But despite my attempts to rush through Piperlime and get back to work, it just wasn't happening, and I'll tell you why:

#1. They've got an incredible selection of styles. Within the "bright shoes" section, I found sandals, sneaks, flats, and more, in rainbow hues.

#2. The press section couldn't be more interesting. You can click each of their "Shoes in the News" section to be led to all sorts of style gems-- and fast! This is great for the shopper who's into stylish, popular shoes that are totally "now." (Like this bestselling pair!)

#3. They feature Rachel Zoe's Tips and Top Shoes. Her picks are very useful and reach a wide variety of tastes, so if you're looking for something "Stylist Approved," I'd head over to her main page.

#4. You can choose shoes that are grouped by section, and not just "Sandals" or "Boots," either. I particularly like the "Weekend Shoe" area, which groups cool trainers and flats together for those of us who are addicted to both comfort and style. (Sign me up!)

My Top Pick: I love the Naturalizer Gersen in Classic Navy Canvas, which has an interesting nautical vibe.

#5. "Hot Trends" is a quick way to peruse trendy shoes quickly and with ease. Current trends include brights, metallics, exotics, architectural, and color blocking. Check out my top picks for each below, and then have a great time shopping!

Brights: The Na Na Pryor has great shape that looks just right for skipping from your house to your car with your heels in hand.

Metallics: Hot Lips "Hottie" is oh-so-vintage. Love that oversized button.

Exotics: Rafe New York Dakotas are smart and shapely.

Architectural: This heel from Corso Cosmo was also a Rachel Zoe pick. The shaped lucite heel is fantastic and just begs to be paired with a sleek wrap dress.

Color Blocking: Wild Dotty Flats are just what you need to add a little zing to your wardrobe.

Jazz Up Your Work Gear with Ease

Do you have a new job? Are you looking for a way to dress up your current wardrobe and make it just right for spring? Thankfully, even in the most understated and professional work environments, you’ll find that there are ways to jazz up your look with simple accessories and smart styling elements.

P11380838_ph_hero

1. Choose unusually colored pearls. Pearls may be a common accessory at your place of work, but you can get pearls that are natural and irregularly-shaped, or tiny, clustered seed pearls instead. I personally like this unusual Louis Vuitton Two-Pearl Monogram Charm in Yellow Gold, which you'll have for years and years to come.

2. Splurge on statement heels. If there’s one place where you can find an opportunity for expression, it’s your heels. Even if you wear suits, be sure to find pumps and stilettos with interesting design details, even if they must be all black.

Prada Signature Tote
3. Toss on a tote. Do you have to carry a lot on our way into the office? Take this opportunity to grab a tote with some style, or at least decorate a basic black one with a tied-on scarf and a few brooches. The Prada Signature Tote has a soft shape, but in basic black, it blends in with anything you have in that closet.

4. Get good post-work shoes. If you must wear heels during the day, your arches can hurt terribly. If you like to slip on comfortable shoes when you left work, get a pair that looks great so you won’t need to change back when you do errands.

Mint Jodi Tank
5. Find white blouses with delicate details. There’s no reason why you can’t wear a blouse with fun, feminine details, especially if you cover it up with a blazer or a suit jacket all day. Find ruffled or lacy blouses that you actually enjoy wearing, and relish the opportunity to try something a little sexy under your work clothes. Mint Jodi Tanks from Shopbop are just one example of what you can wear underneath a blazer for work: they're simple, but add interest to an otherwise "blah" look.

6. Bank on the best lingerie. If you’re a lawyer or have a similarly restrictive job, wardrobe-wide, shop for lacey camisoles and garters to give you more confidence and add some bounce to your step. Stockings are the same—don’t wear pantyhose when you can wear something that’s three times as sexy and more comfortable.

4616472401_2
7. Hair tricks and tips. If your hair is longer, you probably tie it back into a bun or a French twist for work. Instead of using the same old tired hair combs, get ones that are slightly more ornate but still offered in “safe” work colors. This Jeweled hair Clip from Forever 21, shown, is a great compromise that's well within any budget.

The Perfect Shoe: What to Do If Your Tootsies Get Squeezed

Do you have a particular foot woe? I feel like most people I take on my shopping trips, or meet online shopping for that matter, think that their feet have some peculiarities that prevent shoes from fitting properly. Their toes may be too wide (and therefore get scrunched), their calves may be too slim, or they may have a high arch.

Wide Widths:

Shoes vary from Wide width to double and triple-wide, and the best thing about shopping online is that nobody is going to know about it. The prettier and more shapely your shoes, the least likely there will be indications that you're wearing wider ones.

Pleated Sling Flats
I love these Pleated Sling Flats that I found over at Silhouettes (right). The tie at the back is feminine, especially when combined with that sexy demi heel. Another unexpected option is from Shoes.com. You can slip on this pair of Women's Rope Swing ($64.99) flats with that large button detail and elastic shaping for comfort.

Extra Support:

You may find that running shoes really help support aching feet, but who wants to wear bulky gym shoes every day? Instead, find a pair of shoes with a soft soles and a comfortable ballet-like look. If you use orthodic inserts, they can be slipped into these shoes.

Tsubo Sneakers

The Tsubo sneakers are also available in pink, tan, and black, and they are soft and comfortable.

Slim Calves:

Are you calves very slim? Even if you get a pair of boots that are a bit smaller, you may find that they still don't suit. A cobbler can only do so much! Check out the following finds to get kitted out with some impressive boots.

Dress_silvihorz
Buckles and Bows offers shoe sizes with an impressive selection of various calf sizes. They offer European sizing with calf widths numbered 1 to 5. My personal favorite? The “Obsession” line, which has a delicately snubbed toe and soft lining.

Or, you can stop by DUO, where the calf width starts at 12 1/2 inches, and you can choose any size boot to correspond with your selected calf width-- an even better selection than Buckles and Bows. The Silvi pair, shown left, are devastatingly sexy, with a full lace-up back.

Flip Flop Flops

The hot weather is officially here, and summer's just around the corner. For those of us concerned with footwear, that means it's time to put away all shoe inventory with closed toes and bust out the sandal collection.

One of the staples in any summer shoe collection is the tried and true flip flop. Simple, classic (and often cheap), it's a great way to get around when the weather's warm.

But flip flops can become just straight flops if certain things go wrong…

-The Problem: The Uncomfortable Flip Flop
Flip flops are fun and cute, but they certainly aren't for everybody. With so little to the actual shoe, they leave something to be desired in the arena of arch support or general orthopedic issues.
If you know you need sturdy shoes in order to walk comfortably, flip flops can be a very painful experience indeed.
-The Solution: If you have specific medical issues with your feet, flip flops should be avoided altogether, or at least greatly limited. If you're running to the store, they might serve you well. If you're out and about all day, they would be better replaced by a more supportive sandal or walking shoe.

-Problem: The Really Uncomfortable Flip Flop
There are certain flip flops that not only pinch a bit but actually pass into borderline unwearable. These are the shoes that rub until painful blisters form, essentially causing you agony with every step.
-The Solution: How do you avoid this flip flop fate? Avoid those shoes with stiff rubber straps. Rubber in particular chafes against the delicate skin on your toes and can easily lead to blisters. Stick to cloth, fabric, or very soft rubber straps. Your toes will thank you.

-The Problem: The Casual Question
Flip flops are great, but does beachwear translate into every location? For example, are flip flops acceptable for the office on any other day than casual Friday? Do they work at nice restaurants?
How much mileage exactly can you get out of these "shoes of the surfer"?
The Solution: Flip flops are definitely a fashion statement. Namely, I like my fashion cool and casual.
For that reason, they have trouble fitting into more formal situations like work or high end dining. Even if they are embellished with cute patterns and designs, it's generally best to leave flip flops out of the dressy situations.

So if you loathe the idea of high heels, but are stuck in many situations where you need to dress up…boy are you in luck, because this season, flats are all the rage. And while flip flops seem might seem inappropriate in work situations, flats are more than permissible.

Especially if you look around for flats that are accented with cute buckles or great fabric, flats can be just as dressy and fashionable as high heels (with the added bonus of all that comfort).

Good luck, and happy shopping!

Find Shoes to Flatter Your Feet

Trying to find shoes to flatter your feet? It's not as hard as it seems. Even if you have foot problems or hate the look of your feet, those aren't reason to give up to orthopedic sneakers and forget it. Consult with your doctor if necessary, but do try to find some of these new shoe styles for style and comfort.

Step Up the Style
You need to find shoes that will flatter your feet. They can be as comfortable as you want or need, but if they aren't planned to highlight the positive, you won't have as sexy feet as you could.

Hide the negative points of your feet with a little clever planning. If you have cracked or rough heels, walk right by the sandals and try out another way to cool off your feet come summer. Try a peep toe style in a flat shape or with a tiny raised kitten heel for summer. They will cool down your feet quickly in the heat if you choose a breathable fabric, and you can still use any special orthotic addition or other insert recommended by your doctor.

Hate your toes? Look for ballerina flats in some of the lightest fabrics for warmer weather. Cover your heels and toes but still keep that warm weather vibe with linen, thicker cotton, and muslin in a feminine print. For a more structured shape to support your feet, look for flats from activewear designers like Nike and Adidas. Their ballerina style shoes have molded EVA cushioned soles to ensure comfort, and have straps that criss-cross the tops of the feet to anchor your flats to your feet.

Show Off the Good
We sometimes think about the negative aspects of our feet and not the positive, and that's an attitude that we need to change. Even if you're asking “What's good about my feet?” you'll be surprised. Ask a friend or family member to tell you what's best about your feet or ankles, and then emphasize it. You may have perfect toes, slim ankles, or creamy skin to highlight, and you may have never considered doing so.

One way to show off an often ignored part of your feet is to show a little “toe cleavage.” Find a pair of shoes, called escarpins in France, which show off a little extra toe in a low-cut style. Find stylish pumps in a supportive leather construction with flexible leather soles at a popular shoe retailer near you or online.

Go for Simple… With a Fun Addition
Sometimes you can't help the shoes you need to wear. Pumps aren't structured enough, heels are a no-no, and sexy styles simply won't do. Even a pair of tennis shoes can flatter your feet. If you have narrow feet, try a pair that emphasizes their slim shape. Get a colorful pair of tennies in the season's hottest color, sunny yellow, to look completely stylish no matter what your foot condition. Color is something you can depend on no matter what style of shoes you need to wear. There are lots of cool colors available at Zappos, so go wild!

Don’t forget to flatter those feet.

Shoes You Need for Spring

Stumped on what trendy shoes to buy for spring? Here are some ideas to jump-start your shopping spree today!

Top Spring Trends Include:

Ankle Strapped Sandals

Ankle strapped sandals have a timeless appeal, and chances are that you have a pair or two already in your closet. These shoes work with tons of other spring shoe trends, such as wooden soles, retro two-tone styles, and the platform effect, so get a pair of ankle strapped shoes that combine several hot looks and be super stylish.

Espadrilles
Espadrilles are one of the hottest trends for spring, but they may not be for everyone. If you've got thicker ankles and legs, you may want to wear your espadrilles under a pair of slim-fitting trousers to just show off the heel and toe. Any shoe that laces around your ankle could cover up the skinniest part!

If you love your slim ankles and you're wild about espadrilles, look for a pair from Marc Jacobs. One of my personal top picks, they are colorful and super strappy. The Dynamic Espadrille comes in natural, a multi-colored look, or violet and yellow. Shop for them a little later in the season to save even more, if you can wait.

Extreme Heels
The higher, the better. Luckily, all heel types are in for spring if they are high and shapely. Chunky heels in a peep-toe, sling back sandal can help to balance out a heavier leg, while a spiked heel can flatter anyone wearing one of spring's new swingy spring shapes.

Metallic Shoes
Metallic shoes are best worn in a simple shape to avoid too much glitz. The metallics that are in this season are toned down from their brighter counterparts, so look for colors like soft gold, pewter, and cool bronze.

Metallic flats are a great way to dress up a plain shoe shape and make you look dressier at work, too. I found interesting pairs of metallic shoes everywhere. If that's a trend you're interested in, go to sites like e Luxury, Yoox.com, and Zappos to find a ton of metallic shoes in every style.

Patent Leather
Crazy about patent leather? Working this spring trend can be a little tricky, so try your patent leather in a strappy sandal to avoid looking to dark and heavy for spring. Wear patent leather pumps with your trousers and blazers to boost even your most professional looks straight into the warmer weather and the hottest trends.

Retro-inspired Pumps
This season, retro-styled shoes have a no-holds-barred style that emphasizes wild fabrics, textures, and shapes from the '70s and '80s. There are so many choices, including a chunky platform effect complete with a wooden heel, that can really work for a fun night out. If you want to save on a pair just for spring, I found a ton of retro styles at Payless. Consider a two-tone shoe if you really want to emphasize that retro appeal.

Wedge Styles
Wedges are a stylish choice if you don't enjoy wearing heels but you want a little height. You can try a canvas style in cream or soft gold, which will look great when worn with one of this season's casual, nautical styled shorts or skirts.

Now let's get shopping!

Another New Payless Collection Gets Me Giddy

I know I've raved about Payless in the past, but they just unveiled their newest designer collaboration and it is better than ever. Lela Rose has joined their Abaete collection for the newest take on designer diffusion lines. Now, besides Bergdorf's and Bloomingdale's, you can find her newest affordable styles in the closest discount store. For any and all of us who have to make a serious commute to find the best looks, this can be a saving grace for any tired outfit.

The most successful pieces in the line were the pumps and t-strap heels for Fall 2007. Cute flats were trimmed with a tiny bit of shiny patent leather in delicate swirls and shapes, and cut-out shapes add a touch of sexy toe cleavage. Just a fact: one out of 11 shoes purchased in America are purchased at Payless, making it the biggest specialty retail store in the U.S.! Get ready to find very fashionable looks for less, but be careful! If you're located anywhere in New York, you may just see me scooping them on their debut.

Designer Profile
A partnership with Lela Rose couldn't have come at a better time. She has been designing her own collection since 1996, and it's been growing ever-so-popular with the ladies who lunch and celebrities too, including Jenna and Barbara Bush, Mariska Hargitay, Mischa Barton, Molly Simms, Jessica Simpson, Ashley Judd, Selma Blair, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson.

Lela Rose's designs are decidedly feminine, perfect for the sweet looks lurking next season. Lela Rose will be using lots of tweed and patent leather. While the shoes are being produced in China, they will be manufactured at the same factories which make the footwear sold in Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Designer Lela Rose was born in Texas and studied at Parsons, after which she designed with the likes of Richard Tyler and Christian Francis Roth before setting out on her own. I'm glad she did—it means cheaper, more stylish footwear for us from a more affordable designer!

Shoe Glossary

Kitten heels, slingbacks, and pumps, oh my!

It's easy to get lost in the world of shoe terminology. But if you're really going to devote yourself to fashion, keeping up with the terms is all part of the game.

So consider this your shoe cheat-sheet of a sort, because the following are many terms and issues often found within the "shoe talk" dialect.

-European versus American Sizing
The first issue you must deal with if you're serious about shoes is international sizing.
It's an incontrovertible fashion factoid that if you want the best, you have to buy European. Almost all the major, high-end designers are European, so logic would tell us designer shoes are going to be European as well.
But if you're buying online, and you fall in love with a pair of white leather stiletto heels, what are you going to do with a size like "38"?
Simply visit this webpage, and all your fears will quickly be quelled: http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html
Follow the chart, and you're well on your way to decoding whether those dream shoes will fit or not.
And before long, you won't even need the cart. Like any good fashionista, you'll know your European size as well as your American size.

-Common Shoe Terms that Might Stump You

-Mule: No, not like the animal. I assure you.
A mule is a common term used for any shoe that only covers the toes or the instep. The back is always open, so your foot simply slides right in. For that very reason, they are sometimes referred to as slides.
The heel can be high, low, or anywhere in-between.

-Wedge
A wedge shoe is another type of heel. The shoe is formed the same way as a heel, except the heel runs all the way from the front of the shoe to the back making a flat sole to walk on.
This is not to be confused with a platform shoe where the sole is the same height all the way across the shoe. The wedge is very low at the toe and becomes higher as it reaches the heel.
Confusing, I know. Check out some pictures, and the distinction will become immediately clear.

-Slingback
A slingback is any shoe where the back of the shoe is totally open except for one strap of fabric that fits across the heel. This strap keeps the shoe more secure.
They're generally better for walking around, because your foot isn't slipping around or out of the shoe as can happen with other heels.
Now, let's test your retention. Without a strap, these shoes would be…that's right…a mule!

-Stiletto
This term is thrown around a lot, because it's typically associated with higher end fashion. A stiletto heel is any shoe with a thin heel. It's generally associated with heels over 3" high, but this isn't exclusively part of the definition.
Stilettos are definitely sexy, alluring, and chic, but you don't want to be doing your grocery shopping in them!

-Kitten Heel
Again, no. Not like the animal.
A kitten heel is any heel that's very low. (Think 1" or less.)
Kitten heels are definitely a happy medium, and it makes a lot of sense these shoes are extremely popular. High, high heels can be downright impossible to walk in, but flats can be unbecoming. With a kitten heel, fashion meets practicality. It's doesn't happen often-cherish it.

Study hard, then go forth into the fashion world a little more confident.

Good luck, and happy shopping!

Reasons To Check out Payless (Again)

Payless shoes have really surprised me in the past year, and if you haven't gotten a chance to check out what they offer, head back and see what's available. Since Matt Rubel took over as the chief executive, we've seen new designs, fun colors, and sophisticated styles from a company formerly known for just cheap shoes. Not anymore!

When I headed to the store to see what they offered in person, I can see that a lot of other fashionable women have already caught on. I saw aisles littered with style-wise women with cute purses trying on piles of new Payless designs, and that clinched it. After trying on a pile myself and checking out their website for more deals, here are 5 designs I love from Payless:

1.All Abaeté for Payless heels! These shoes are based on the trends of the season and are priced between $25 and $45. The Alex Wedge is an updated shape with a perfect wedge toe. Match them to your purse in brown or black.
2.“Faye” Woven Flats. They're excellent weekend shoes with serious style. Available in a daring snake print.
3.American Eagle “Russo” Thong. Wear these as shower shoes at the gym. I love them in orange.
4.“Stella” Slouch Boot. These are great boots for those who don't wear leather, and they have a comfortable padded sole to keep you more comfortable throughout the day. I pair mine with a belted brown sweater dress and textured stockings.
5.“Slushy” Weather Boot. A nice take on winter boots that can get you to work and back.
