Buyer's Experience: iFrogz
I recently shopped for new pair of earphones, and I am here to report my findings! There's this cool company called iFrogz that allows you to "build" your earphones according to your personal taste, and they're really high-quality to boot. Check out my experience buying (and using) iFrogz.
Convenience
One of my favorite things about the iFrogz shopping experience is the ease at which you can choose your design. Because they have a 20+ image gallery of different styles from which to choose, you don't have problems picking out the right colors that go together, as well as the proper designs to match. The headband, ear cushions, speakers, and sidepieces are all customizable.
Quality
The colors on the earphones are really bright, and the speakers are plasticized to ward off scratching and damage. The sound quality is impressive, particularly if you make the switch from ear buds to traditional, full-ear earphones. I have iPod Apple earbuds, but I still enjoyed using iFrogz earphones.
Style
Fashion lover at heart? Mix colors and patterns, including metallics, for a pretty cool effect. I chose a bright yellow sidepiece design with a whimsical earphone pattern in pink and blue. It was an unexpected combination, but one that I picked up on from checking out all the pics. You should do it, too-- it's easy research, since the photos run as you select your design.
Cost
Speakers cost a respectable $34.99 and could easily be priced $10-15 more expensive without too much consumer backlash. I think that the sound and style adds novelty appeal, which makes the price point particularly attractive.
Overall Experience
The check-out procedure at iFrogz is simple and enjoyable. Click, click, and your done--and their shipping is really fast, too. If I were going to give them a rating, I would say that they deserve an "8" overall.
